Remote communities which have been affected by so many recent strikes and power interruptions, needed fuel generators to power necessary hospitals. Many locations were in a remote destination and the fuel tanks need to be able to sustain this robust environment.
As a standard product for us the 50TCG (4500L Transcube) was ascertained to be the best solution for the remote areas and the units were then painted in camouflage colours as required.
Army vehicles are the only form of transport that can navigate these remote regions. Therefore, the trailers on which the fuel tanks were mounted, needed to accommodate this. Along with our local chassis partner we designed a specification with a short wheel base for better performance and an indestructible frame.
We supplied hospitals with 13 units and these have worked perfectly for their intended use. 25 further units have been ordered to increase their operational support.
